The violence in the name of religion re-occur. This shows that Indonesia was facing a major national challenge. The problem is, what is the root problem of all these events.

Admittedly, the root of the problem is not single, but multidimensional. Not easy to mengambinghitamkan one factor alone. Each factor can be related to other factors.

Maluku novel inflammatory Love, written by Ratna Sarumpaet shows that disputes between religious, often based on external factors. These factors were not incidental, but has been chronic.

One of the external factors identified by Rachael in this novel is the policy of the government were deemed unfair. One of them is that marine legislation is considered not siding with the people of Maluku.

In addition, Rachel has shown that the ever-widening violence in the Moluccas not be separated from the interests of many parties. There are forces deliberately set fire to the atmosphere continues to gain certain pihat.

For Rachel, do not make sense if the mutual understanding between religious communities that have nurtured a long time in Maluku can be destroyed within a very short time. This is not going to happen when there is no deliberate effort or scenarios are prepared to heat the atmosphere over there.

That's why Ratna without ceasing to remind the parties that "play" on the back of any friction arising in the community. Therefore, it is important to filter out any issues that develop in society.

More than that, Rachael called importance of inter-religious tolerance. Since the first chapter, he explicitly called for this. For him, tolerance is the key to peace.

In Maluku alone good communication, a strong reciprocal relationship between religious actually have long occurred. Even religious leaders, both from the Christian and Islam, described as having a high tolerance. They are also engaging in dialogue when there is a crisis of confidence among the people. Unfortunately, it does not flow into the lower level.

A number of young leaders - as told in this novel - with a background of different religions and then emerged. They are trying to rebuild trust between religious communities. They established an independent organization that tries to restore peace in Maluku.

Young children are aware, if things are not immediately addressed, the greater destruction will occur. Unfortunately the noble ideals they were confronted by the various conflicts that complicated.

Through this novel Rachel also wanted to say that inter-religious hostility can only be rehabilitated by rebuilding the spirit of mutual understanding. It is not only government's duty, but also religious leaders.

Here, religious leaders must be able to develop a mission that soothing and good for all mankind. It should be no more place in this country for those who monopolize the truth .***
